Value Decay: when the explanation disappears after the meeting

The seller committed the deal to close. Sales leadership guaranteed it to the board. The board is asking why it was forecast.

Cognitive Overload is why later reviewers reconstruct the conversation instead of sharing one narrative. That is a process of weak follow-up, not one file that cost the deal.

That's the impact of Value Decay. Sales meetings happen but the buyers don't remember the seller's narrative.

For example, with The Challenger Sale, the seller teaches a commercial insight — improvements the buyer did not already see. That teaching happens across many meetings and presentations.

Sending short synopsis videos after meetings keeps the seller's narrative working inside the buyer's organization, so the champion, the buying committee, and the decision committee can hear the seller's value narrative today when the seller is on site and later when the seller is not invited to buyer evaluation and decision meetings.

What the follow-up failed to do

The product is a sales tool that happens to use video: same PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote, turned into a sales video so the explanation travels.
