Persuasive Pitch Copyright Policy

1. Introduction

This Copyright Policy outlines the procedures Persuasive Pitch follows to address claims of copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA).

2. Notification of Copyright Infringement

Persuasive Pitch respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. It is Persuasive Pitch’s policy, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, to disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at https://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf, Persuasive Pitch will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Persuasive Pitch website or other online network accessible through a mobile device or other type of device (the “Sites”) that are reported to Persuasive Pitch’s Designated Copyright Agent, identified in the sample notice below.

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, or authorized to act under any exclusive right under copyright, please report alleged copyright infringements taking place on or through the Sites by completing the following DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering it to Persuasive Pitch’s Designated Copyright Agent. Upon receipt of the Notice as described below, Persuasive Pitch will take whatever action, in its sole discretion, it deems appropriate, including removal of the challenged material from the Sites.

4. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that material you posted on the Sites was removed or access to it was disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Designated Copyright Agent.

Your counter-notification must include the following:

We will provide the complainant with a copy of your counter-notification and inform them that we may replace the removed material or cease disabling access to it in 10 business days. Unless the complainant files an action seeking a court order against you within that time, we may reinstate the material at our discretion.
